The Best Air Fryer Parmesan Shrimp
Indulge in a classiccomfort food dish without any of the guilt by following this healthy recipe forthe best ever air fryer shrimp. By cooking them in an air fryer, the shrimp geta wonderfully crispy, crunchy, golden exterior without the excess calories, oiland greasiness associated with regular old deep frying.
- 1 1/2 lbs shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shredded
- 1 cup flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- fresh parsley chopped
- tartar sauce for serving
In the one shallow bowl beat the eggs well.
In the second bowl mix flour and smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste,
In the third bowl mix breadcrumbs with freshly shredded parmesan cheese.
Coat the shrimps in the flour mixture, next dip the in beaten eggs and in the cheesy breadcrumbs.
Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 200°C/400°F. Place breaded shrimps in greased air fryer basket and cook at 200°C/400°F for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle hot crispy shrimps with fresh parsley and serve with tartar sauce.
Use large/jumbo shrimps. If you only have small or medium ones, reduce cook time by a couple of minutes.
